Defining own captcha questions and answers #134

Open pooive opened 3 years ago

pooive commented 3 years ago

Hi, since more and more spam accounts pass the default captchas (presumably by human work), it would be nice to have a new captcha type where we can define our own correct answers to the captcha question. For example, a group for a specific city could ask "What state is city XY in?" or a group for Pokémon Go could ask "How many kilometers do you need to walk to hatch a yellow egg?" and only those who give the right answer are let in.

Thank you for the awesome work you're doing with this bot.

It's an interesting idea, thank you, I'll explore it.

This is a very useful feature, recently sheldy have been easily bypassed by solving problems with the help of people for money. Topical questions aimed at the target audience of the group would greatly complicate such attacks.

Hello @Rulexec . Has this been deployed yet? I can't see the option in the Shieldy /help output.

There is only the option to customize the captcha message and single button....or I am missing something?

Thank YOU.

If you only want to test it, you can try @sesuritu_bot, I runned a fork with this feature at least until it will not be merged in upstream (our chat was too flooded with bots).

But there is no any guarantee, that this bot will work long enough and currently it's running on very cheap machine.

Cool. Thanks a lot. I'll try that so that I'll be more prepared when the merge happens.
