Aleph crashes when using a HTTPS site as input if the Python SSL certificates are not installed.

Instead of crashing, it would be nice if Aleph could just give an error message and then exit. It would be even better if Aleph automatically installs the certificates if needed, but this asks for a multiplatform and python version independent solution.
