Resolved the issues in PR https://github.com/1thing-org/hatecrimetracker/pull/9. There was an old PR resolving the same issues. However, the destination branch of that PR was wrong. The changes should be merged into self-report-dev instead of main, so I opened this new PR. The old PR was https://github.com/1thing-org/hatecrimetracker/pull/13.
