Hey sorry for the late reply!
The last open challenge currently is supporting both openPAM and Linux PAM (as discussed in #18). Once that I resolved, I am likely releasing 1.0.0 as the -sys
crate should not change that much afterwards.
Dear @1wilkens,
I'm sorry if I disturb you to this. Today, I'm trying to deploy the latest version of your crate on Debian, but unfortunately the .alpha5
version number is annoying on the packaging process that requires additional checks and manual verification from Debian teams.
Considering that this crate has been running under alpha5 for about a year without big issues, I was wondering if it would be possible to consider this version as 1.0.0, and then treating the openPAM-compatible version as 2.0.0?
Edit : Add ".alpha5
version number"
Hey,
Do you know or have any ETA when you release 1.0.0 stable?
