Can you change the Google Drive download permission from 'viewers can download' to 'anyone can download'? This way, I can use gdown to download it to my server.

I had also some issues with the size of the dataset. It looks like google is limiting the d'load rate to less than the announced 750GB on their website for other people.

It helped me to create an own copy of the "occupancies.zip"-file to my own gdrive (right click -> create copy) and d'load it from there. Still, you need around 700GB of space on your gdrive cloud.

Maybe you could create a chuncked version of the occupancies file (<=100GB per file), so fewer people run into the problems of Google limiting the download rates.
