Adds TCP traffic security group rule for metrics
Many changes to support prerelease code (not well tested)
Modifies run with latest release
Fixes package version support
Removes some unused vars
Many changes to using small scriptlets to take advantage of go templates in
command output
Rework of the smoke test project provisioning
Updates README with latest tags

Definitely will need to update image versions on the pre-pull it looks like.
