freenode #easyrpg:
<Ghabry> t20kdc: I guess Wolf RPG Editor is propreitary freeware
<t20kdc> Ghabry: ah, thanks
<Ghabry> at least I'm not aware of any sourcecode
...yeah, so, about that license...
I don't think this is worth it - Editor is freeware, engine is freeware. If a open-source engine replacement comes out, but no editor, then there's a good reason - until then, I guess.
Possibly support editing of Wolf RPG Editor.
NOTE: This is kind of between a rock and a hard place:
(Regarding the consistency with other actions: With VXA and XP, it's possible someone could use R48 to write new CoreScripts, and mkxp exists, so this is more of an "essential RTP component" problem. If the native code of WolfRPGEditor is closed-source, then there is no point. The Ikachan (no relation to Ika) support is more about the refactoring work that went along with it, though it also serves as a decent example backend should one want to understand R48.)
I suspect @Ghabry knows more about the licensing.
