I am trying to start vController but it crashes. Windows 10 LTSC 21H2 (x64)

Hi, You have to be more specific. What was you doing, Was there some event in the queue? What was the events beeing played when the crash happened? vController was connected to the local computer or a distant computer Was vController on running state hat was the media running on vMix while vController crashes. If there was a crash report can you capture that screen? Can you reproduce the crash? What version of vMix are you using? Any informations will help.

I very difficult to troubleshoot crashes without any lead.

What was you doing? I just opened the app. Was there some event in the queue? No. What was the events beeing played when the crash happened? No, it crashes without having time to start, there is nothing even in vMix. vController was connected to the local computer or a distant computer: Local Was vController on running state: It just crashes without having time to load. What was the media running on vMix while vController crashes: It just crashes, it doesn't even have to turn on anything. If there was a crash report can you capture that screen? There are no crash reports. The tray icon just appears for 2-3 seconds and disappears. Can you reproduce the crash? Yes, I can. 1 - Run vController. vMix version: 23.0.0.68 Of course, it can start, but this occurs very rarely.

Do vManager work properly? Go to this folder C:\ProgramData\vScheduler There should be files named "settings.xml" vLibrary.xml" and may be "vschecdule0.xml" Let me know what you have. Also try to send me all those files. I will look at those.

For now you can try this:

run as administrator
copy all the files of the package of the software to another location and run it there
check you computer for any malware or so just in case
check if your firewall/antivirus is not blocking vController for sending anythink trough the network (vController use web api even if you use it locally). May be some security solution could detect the behavior of vcontroller as suspect and malicious thus closing it.
