New Split & Merge modules suggestions #19

  1. Ok, the first one I want to suggest is something like your tiny 24 split or merge but top half for splitting for example and bottom one is for merging. That's pretty useful, for example I want to divide four different gates by two using one instance of your amazing clock modulation module, I'd just place split\merge module near the modulator and get fastest connection than ever before instead of adding split or merge modules separately. Also 28 same concept would be very welcome!)
  2. And second one - something like poly split module but with visualization LED near with the each hole. VCV has some nice module that's called VIZ but it should be placed separately from main split module and it confused me pretty much. Of course we have NYSTHI meter with one poly input and 16 outputs but most of time I don't want precise info about movement in the each mono cable , just a small LED can solves all of needs really. And nysthi's one is pretty thick. Also two different versions 18 and 116 would be very welcome!)

There was a recently released module Splerge by Aria Salviatrice which already do this or do you have a different idea in mind ? A 2x8 version could be useful for patching flow I guess, like having 1 Merge8 and 1 Split8 combined in the same module with a top down layout instead of 2 columns.

Could be useful indeed ! I'll probably make it in the near future

just've seen the Splerge, this is exactly what I want but yeah I agree on 2x8 would be much efficient.

Here's what completing the set could look like with a MergeSplit4 (or whatever name you'd like to call it). I've also shifted the SmallPorts in Split4 to match Split8 (see my other issue).
