In the case of a shared signature, the document is transmitted and stored on the server for a period chosen by the operator. The purpose of this feature is to store the pdf on the server in an encrypted way using a symmetric key. In order to process the server side operation, the symmetric key will be transmitted with each request. A non encrypted version of the document will not be stored on the server but only processed in RAM which will increase the confidentiality of the information contained in the documents.
