Not sure why this isn't happening to me, but multiple users have reported they need to click 'sign in' on v3 every time they close their browser, suggesting the rails session is expiring when the browser is closed. Perhaps it's a Chrome vs Firefox issue, and/or perhaps it's to do with the rails default session expiry setting.
