Apps should be able to ask D2 to load the image (or stream) that a user is looking at first #50

Examples are:

• Loading the images associated with the 20 articles you are looking at in Gothamist (I believe we do this already) • Loading the images of an issue you are looking at (in aperture), for instance (I believe we are not doing this already!)

I am giving these options to users

  1. download an issue's assets (not article assets, just issue)
  2. download the assets for the issue and all its articles
  3. download only an article's assets

These are apart from the standard issue/article download methods which by default download all their assets in order.

Anything else?

This approach changed again to only download assets when a user requests them as discussed with @djacobs on slack
