Compile for ARM #9

Hi I want to use the easycap-somagic Stick with an ARM v7 Device and I do not 
know much about cross compiling, the only I have done so far was cross 
compiling a Linux Kernel for Android.

Is it possible to cross compile the same way but for ARM?

I have not tried cross compiling, but I was able to compile natively for armel 
using Debian on my HTC Dream phone. Of course I could not make use of the 
program except to see --help, --version, or that the device was missing.
