Introducing a third study status (to be set by the user) would make it clearer whether a study is over or not, and make it possible to give better suggestions for the next steps.

Proposal:

Draft
Published
Finished (next steps: only things like "download results", "remove subject-ID mapping", "archive", not: "publish the study", "customize settings", "translate" etc.)
