Thanks for the suggestion.
I was thinking about packaging l-rex, but at this stage of the project it's not worth the effort yet.
I did not package a web application so far but it sounds like quite a bit of work, considering that it needs integration with other components such as webserver, wsgi and database.
But I'll definitely think about it, after the first stable version is done.
Also thanks for the Freedombox hint. Looks interesting (but even more work :smile: ). When having a debian package, I'll take a deeper look into it.
Consider including l-rex in FreedomBox to make self-hosting as easy as clicking "install". It appears that all of the dependencies, except python-memcached, are already available in Debian. To include l-rex in FreedomBox (a Debian pure blend) would require building a package for Debian.
