I want to ensure that this project is careful about whats considered in scope to ensure its long term maintainability.
As part of founding this project, we are working towards facilitating more advanced user experiences, but it may be that not all of these should be met by this specific open source project out of the box.
Currently, the scope of what to include in this project relates to:
a helm chart with an image to run the binderhub software, configured by default to not couple to a jupyterhub
with documentation on:
putting the binderhub UI behind jupyterhub authentication
in one or more ways to launching built images
in some way handling the conflict of having home folders mounted over the repo2docker image's provided home folder data
