@colliand suggests via Slack

"I would REALLY like to implement JupyterAI into showcase.2i2c.cloud to enable exploratory AI work in JupyterLab. I like the way JupyterAI is designed to be agnostic with respect to LLM provider/vendor. https://youtu.be/nDoojNaRhPE?si=mge-x87JwdPaPOk8"

In https://2i2c.freshdesk.com/a/tickets/1250 we received the comment:

I'm wondering whether you have integrated jupyter-ai into any of the community-/event-oriented hubs, and what that might look like. We had some discussions of the use of LLMs for programming in last year's event, and are likely to want to have these discussions in the upcoming event as well. It might be nice to have these tools available within our hub.

When/if JupyterAI is deployed on showcase.2i2c.cloud we should reach out to the NeuroHackademy community as well.

Following up on a conversation with @jmunroe....this is not just an abstract request. I have had conversations with NASA (inspired partly by the work of Wei Ji of DevSeed who made JupyterAI available in an image for use by CryoCloud), HHMI, and Smithsonian about JupyterAI. Leaders of BIG institutions like these are struggling with "How can I make AI tools available to the communities I serve?", "How can I avoid getting locked into a particular vendor?", etc.

Imagine such a leader seeing the "digital fabric" idea conveyed in the image file below. The leader has the potential to see "across" many communities with insights into their use of data, their use of computation, etc.

Imagine that leader hearing about JupyterAI, an LLM vendor-agnostic way to make AI tools available to the communities you serve. This story resonates. I want to be able to experiment with JupyterAI on showcase, to build short video snippets that I can use to tell 2i2c product/sales stories, etc.
