Feature Request: History of recently used custom images #29

Context

When a chooses a Custom Image from this dialog

it would be useful to have a history of previously used images.

Proposal

Some ideas to explore with this feature:

[ ] Store a of recently used image strings.
- Can this history be stored in the local web session client side?
- Can this history be associated on the server side for each JupyterHub user?
- Can this history be shared across a hub for all users?
[ ] Add to history only after the image has been launched successfully
[ ] Include a timestamp of the last time the image was used
