In 2i2c-org/infrastructure#34 we're discussing per-hub image customization. This issue is the UI/UX related to facilitating that.
If I remember correctly, PlasmaBio had a little UI that connected to repo2docker and that was built into their JupyterHub. @yuvipanda built a proof-of-concept hub that demoed that UI but I don't remember where it was. Do you have a link Yuvi?
I believe that @consideRatio was interested in this on the Jupyter Meets the Earth grant as well. Perhaps we can coordinate and do some focused dev work once we figure out the back-end as well?
