We haven't been able to run the latest version of RStudio on JupyterHub for quite some time - see https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyter-rsession-proxy/issues/97. Related upstream issue is https://github.com/rstudio/rstudio/issues/8888.
It's very important that we find ways to keep this going, since first class RStudio support is an important part of what 2i2c offers.
