No effect on OS X 10.11.6 #119

Gas mask runs fine, and I can see that it made updates to /etc/hosts file

However, there is no effect. Blocked hosts still resolve with the host command in the terminal.

I even tried flushing the cache with:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

Still doesn't work. No effect at all. Am I missing something?

I'm seeing the same thing. OS X 10.11.6. From what I've read, this is the new reality for OSX in El Capitan and Sierra. Extremely hostile environment for developers.
