I'm not sure this has a lot of value. Donkeycar is very prescriptive about this. That answer is basically always Raspberry Pi. We will soon drop main line support for Nano. Arduino or other microcontroller is not suitable. A whole lesson on this may not be worth it.

The set of 12 plans that are about to be posted focus on using Linux and Raspberry Pi. The use of Nano and other micro-controllers mentioned in the 4 and 6 set of plans was intended to be used as a secondary board to process sensor data that is not vision based.
