Free Mac Mini, 3rd gen, late 2014 #11

I have an extra Mac Mini. I bought in 2016 and I believe it will run Big Sur. In perfect condition, I stopped using it at the start of the pandemic last year when I upgraded to a 6 core 2020 Mac Mini.

I won't be using it ever again. So, if anyone in the Sage Community wants it I will ship in in the continental US free of charge (to further the cause of science, knowing that many mathematicians don't have a lot of money...)

If you do have money, then a 6 core machine is the way to go because the speed will pay for itself rather quickly, assuming you use your computer all day long. Just booting it almost instant. That said, this old Mac Mini has a lot of life left.

Let me know and I will upgrade the OS and reset to factory then ship UPS.

Wow, I'd love to have it... it has been a hard couple years and I'm really working on learning/building stuff here. I'd ask which model it is, but honestly any of them will make a great alternative server here for me :). Funny thing is I was here trying to solve an illegal instruction problem upgrading to 9.3 on my old mac mini. I'm sure it's something I've done wrong though
