Cleaning Up Trellis for Multi-Platform development and a happy gofmt

• refactored xtrellis into its own library
• fixed MCL script to use head instead of the version that was breaking OSX
• cleaned up references for xtrellis
• cleaned up pb directory references to be easily resolved

the version check fails because the whole pb needs to be re-generated with the version
