Randomly stops passing Internet traffic #110

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Normal operation; start tether and connnect PC
2. Browse the Internet
3. Eventually PC will report Limited Connectivity (Vista)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should not loose connectivity

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ver 1.51; using JACHero 2.3.3

Please provide any additional information below.
PC has a valid address; can ping the PC from the G1 console.  Can ping 
Internet addresses from the G1.  But, can not ping the same Internet 
addresses from the connected PC.
Workaround - Stop tethering and restart tethering via Wireless Tether 
interface.

I too have experienced this same issue. I have experienced it in XP, Vista, and 
Windows 
7. I ping 192.186.0.1 from Command Prompt and it pings the phone fine. When I 
ping 
www.google.com, it comes up with Request Timed Out. Only when I open the 
browser on the 
phone (without disconnecting tethering) and surf to a site on the phone will 
the 
connection successfully ping on the computer.

I seem to get this problem aswell using CyanogenMod 4.2.5 with XP, Vista, Win 7 
& 
Ubuntu.

droidmod build 164 (kernel 2.6.29, firmware 2.0.1) has same problem with 
2.0-pre3
wifi tether.

That happens with a bad mobile signal (weak coverage).

@fredrick00: -pre3 was a very early experimental release. Update the app please.
