What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.press to tether 
2. After I press allow for the su request
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
My laptop does not detect the wifi output

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The lastest update on my rooted g1

I'm having the same issue...can't get anything to detect my tethering phone...

with
which devices are you trying to connect.
