as title says; i have my game set to 120 fps cap right now in 3440x1440 borderless, and whenever i alt tab to another window, the game caps its fps at 10, and when i switch back in there is about a second where the screen is frozen (0 fps) and then it returns back to 120. r5600x, rx5700xt, 32gb ddr4 3200

This sounds similar to the 'Power Saving' feature found in Settings -> General.

I would ensure that option is off. If already off, toggle that option on and off.
