App will no longer connect from external IP after new gateway installed

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
will not connect any longer after new Xfinity docsis 3 wifi router installed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version on iPhone 5 latest IOS

Please provide any additional information below.
App reports error message "Unrecognized Gateway" was working on my older wifi 
router. port forwarded OK. Works on internal IP but not external.

(1) Are you able to view the Footprints web app when connecting externally? 

(2) If possible, could you e-mail me with connection info so I can test myself? 
(I.e., hostname, port, username & temporary password if needed). You can e-mail
