Do you have scene ID correspondence to images? #10

Hi,

The images have filenames like 0000001.jpg, I wonder if it's possible to know from which scenes (and room) they are rendered? For example, scene IDs like 3085ee0a-7da1-466e-9d5f-71ad571a25c0.json from the 3D-FRONT dataset.

Thanks, Zhenyu

Hi @RoyJames,

did you find an answer to your question? I am currently working with this dataset and facing the exact same problem.

Thanks a lot! Sirine

No they don't respond whatever. This repo is not well supported. Probably switch to other datasets with betters supports. If you have to render images from this dataset, check out https://github.com/DLR-RM/BlenderProc

Thanks a lot for your response.

Do you think that the images are actually rendered from 3D-FRONT data? because it doesn't look like it!

They should be. I guess the appearance largely depends on how the texture is set up in the renderer and the lighting condition. I don't doubt it if people get different-looking images out of it.
