Publishing of 3D data in web environments is usually done via custom viewer.

Converting PDF to html with 3D model requires the

• conversion of the whole static PDF content (with space for the 3d viewer experience)
• interactive content (forms, buttons, interactive elements manipulating with some aspects of the 3d scene etc..)
• reuse of the model(s)
• reuse of the whole interactive experience
  • activation/deactivation experience
  • navigational elements connected with the model
  • underlying javascripts
• other aspects like measuring etc.. are out of scope
• what about appearance? if in inactive state?

When converting 3d annotation we need to move across not just the asset but the whole content of the 3d annotation (Rich media)
