Emacs: The Editor of a Lifetime - Improve your (SUTD) life with Emacs
Short Description
A text editor is important to all who edit text. While being a programmer's vital tool of the trade, it's importance extends beyond just programming (all pillars, not just ISTD).
In this workshop, we will be running through the basics of Emacs (text editor) to get you started on your feet. We will also be introducing Emacs' vast array of features not limited to hierachical note-taking, literate programming with python, interfacing with Git, writing Latex documents, et cetera (depending on the audience). And showcasing real-world (SUTD) use-cases for these features.
