for some reason after trying to set everything up. the auto mesh doesnt seem to run. not sure exactly what might have caused it. I'm willing to give any more information you need, I'm just not very technical and am new to this stuff. Bed mesh

3DPrintDemon commented 8 months ago

Ohhh ok. Probably my fault there didn’t update the name, if you open the mesh builder.cfg & rename the the macro to [gcode_macro AUTO_BED_MESH_BUILDER]

then save & restart

LiquidState317 commented 8 months ago

this is the new message that is popping up... tried doing some Ctrl-F ing and couldnt find anything BED MESH 2

Also is this going to make it so once I start a print, the nozzle and bed will keep the target temp? I tried a test real fast in the beginning and even though it would preheat, it would just set the target temp to 0 as soon as the print started

I've just saw that here too, I changed the variables names, its now fixed in the online file, please download & install the mesh builder file from the repo again

Cool, yep same here, was just some naming issues previously due to edits I think.

Thanks for the quick replies. I know its hard work, but do you plan on uploading any more tutorials for just setting up all the macros and configs? The instructions are well written up and very helpful, but I think people like me who are total beginners on 3D printing and actually writing/implementing gcode macros would really appreciate it. (Im also just a bit slow when it comes to this stuff)

You're welcome, I try my best to update stuff before it goes up, but sometimes little things sneak through!

I would like to do some videos or at least a written guide or something. Hopefully when I get a bit of time I can put something together for everyone.
