First time user of Home Assistant. Own a Eufy RoboVac 30c (Not the MAX version).

Feel like I configured everything identically to your setup. Vacuum is recognized in the Eufy app. Shared the device with another Eufy account I created for use in BlueStacks. It found the device and I was able to record the Device ID and the Local Key.

Got HACS setup, and added the "Simple Vacuum Card", which found the device I setup in the configuration.yaml file. However, when I click into the RoboVac card it shows a status of "error", and none of the controls work to effect the vacuum.

Any suggestions on how I could begin to track down the cause? My guess is to start digging into the logs, which I'll try to locate.

Along with this, there is a new message that appears at the top of the panel when I click on the Settings sidebar icon. This message reads:

The eufy_custom integration is using deprecated vacuum feature

(Warning/Hazard icon) This stops working in version 2024.2.0. Please address before upgrading.

The custom integration eufy_vacuum is extending the deprecated base class VacuumEntity instead of StateVacuumEntity.

Please report it to the author of the eufy_vacuum custom integration.

Once an updated version of eufy_vacuum is available, install it and restart Home Assistant to fix this issue.

Soz fella, I can't think why it's not working. It seems like you've followed everything correctly and have the same setup as my working setup.

Yes, checking the logs may help - Hopefully you can find some clues there. 🤞

As for the HA warning, there's nothing I can do about that, that's down to the DEV of the integration... we all have to wait for them to fix that. In the meantime, you can "ignore" that message.
