This does connect to our servers through SDK. Developers need not have their own servers.
Google project ID is for GCM. On Feb 8, 2016 16:07, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:
If this SDK doesn't use a server to stream/connect users for video chat, how does it stream and connect the two users?
What's the purpose of the GoogleCloudProject in this library?

Why is GCM required? Where can I find the documentation for this library?
SDK needs that for call management. On Feb 8, 2016 16:10, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

I am trying to compile the sample app. The register method requires 5 arguments where as sample app provides it 4 arguments. Which argument is missing from the sample app? Where can I find the documentation for this library?
second argument is a userName. you can refer the other example which has the latest code. On Feb 8, 2016 4:17 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

Where can I find the documentation? The other example on this Account also have 4 arguments for register method. Can you please tell me arguments and their purposes?
There isn't any at the moment, you can refer to ReadMe which has a basic details of necessary functions. On Feb 8, 2016 4:36 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

userId: unique user id, userName: will be displayed in a call, GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT_ID, Context, CallService.Callback listener: for registration response. On Feb 8, 2016 4:39 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

Your sample project isn't compiling: Error:Execution failed for task ':app:dexDebug'.
com.android.ide.common.process.ProcessException: org.gradle.process.internal.ExecException: Process 'command 'C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_05\bin\java.exe'' finished with non-zero exit value 1
Are there any redundant libraries/dependencies in the sample app that are already included in the your library project?
Please try the other sample app, that was updated last. On Feb 8, 2016 5:11 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

That isnt compiling either
Then there's an issue with your dev environment. Btw, you also need to send us an email to get an access. Plz go through the ReadMe. You can continue to send us emails on that for any issues. On Feb 8, 2016 5:28 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

Other projects are compiling fine. Android Studio just can't compile your library sample project
The problem seems to be the compiled library file. Some of the Proguard settings which are used to obfuscate the library.aar file are causing this error. Below is the attached log:

Ok I have successfully compiled the sample app however I am unable to register. Why is that?
I am getting com.google.api.client.googleapis.extensions.android.gms.auth.GoogleAuthIOException
THis is the method signature:
CallService.getDefaultInstance().register(userId, "MY_USER_NAME", GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT_ID, MainActivity.this, new CallService.Callback() {
You need to have an access for that. Go through ReadMe for details. On Feb 8, 2016 6:09 PM, "Umer Farooq" notifications@github.com wrote:

Ok.
If this SDK doesn't use a server to stream/connect users for video chat, how does it stream and connect the two users?
What's the purpose of the GoogleCloudProject in this library?
