It would be nice if there was an option to set maximumScreenSpaceError when loading a Cesium3DTileset. There is loads of options for maximumScreenSpaceError but I think you get quite far just to be able to use the maximumScreenSpaceError.
By default it is set to 16 which is not optimal in lots of cases and could be set to a lower value in my opinion.
