After changing the dataset spacing, slicer and 3D views need to be reset in order to adapt them to the changed dataset.
For the slicer views, there is a workaround: Click on the slicer, press 'r' key to reset, and then switch to another slice.
For the 3D view, the size of axis cube and axis arrows needs to be adapted.
