3 years ago hi, so I've figured it out to install ubuntu directly, where the issues with serial port are not appearing (for windows it seems, it require some additional drivers, non-supported by arduino). It would be good to have some update by the developers, as it is not working out-of-the-box for Windows 10. For the ones, who were not pretty sure about profiles, it is really enough, to add more as you wish with different temp and motor speed. With a bigger nozzle, you can also increase the motor speed (tested with max of 80%). I'm also using 175C for PLA without any problem.
Hi, received Kit 2 a few days ago and honestly, I am not satisfyed with the 3D pen performance (the main reason I bought it)
the fillament is going so slow and it makes not nice lines. If I comapre it to the videos on youtube, where they play with 3D pens , I am even wondering, if this pen will allow to do the bridging. I was thinking to play with the speed and add some profiles for lower temp (recommended for PLA is 175, wondering why it has 230 by default). But I am not able to flash the new profiles there (is it enough to add few this lines?).
