Patching channels with -a works in test (-c), but not without -c #10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. iwleeprom -d 0000:03:00.0 -a -D1 -m

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected:
Card EEPROM patched successfully

actual result:
Using device 0000:03:00.0 [RW] PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network 
Connection 
address: f7f00000
No file names given or patch option selected!
No EEPROM actions will be performed, just write-enable test
Write regulatory data for all channels unlock...
-> Checking and adding channels...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest version as available here.
OS; Debian Linux Wheezy Amd64

Please provide any additional information below.

The card is an Intel ipw4965

sorry, I was using the trunk which apparently an older version.
I will make a new case for the branch version under Atheros.
