Slow Response getting to Activity List, Dashboard etc #185

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. opening Activity List in Chrome takes about 47sec.
2. IE9 takes 32 sec.
3. Android 27 sec.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get expected output but up to last week the Activity List would open in less
than 10 secs. What I get now is "waiting for screeperzone.com" on Chrome. All
others takes up to a minute before menu is displayed.

Copy and paste any exception or error messages below
NA

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7-64 (2 locations), Windows XP with latest service pack, Motorola Droid.

Please provide any additional information below or attach a screen snapshot
that explains your problem.

I started to notice a lag about a week ago but attributed it to the change at
Google.
I have the same experience at my office as well as my home.
The above times I just tested after clearing cookies and cache.
at the office I get an download speed of 79.30Mbps at 4pm in the afternoon
using speedtest.net at home I am on a cable modem with an average of 5Mbps.

As a comparision I went to www.cnn.com after clearing cache and cookies.
Chrome (20.0.1132.57 m) <2 sec. Then www.bbc.com <3 sec
IE (9.0.8112.16421) <2sec. Then www.bbc.com <2 sec.
Android (2.3.4 (4G zone)) takes 3 sec.

Tested going to Gmail in Chrome (primary web browser)
1 sec to log in screen 3 sec after logging in.
2 sec to Drive (formally Google Docs)
Tried Activity List again during the same logged in session: 25 sec.

I run CCleaner, MalwareBytes, McAfee Anti Virus Plus. Corprate firewall at
work.
Do I need to rename the "Time Tracking" file and start a New one?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for rising this issue. I am assigned to reproduce and fix this.

Can you answer the following questions
1- Can you let me know how many activities have you created?
2- When loading Activity Tracker Plus, do you load all activities at one
request or are you using labels to filter the interesting activities at that
time?

Thanks

Thanks for helping. I hope it is simple error on my part.
I have 16 Activities.
10 are hidden.
No Timers
No tasks
All Activities have Labels
I load All Activities.
Also very slow on reports and manage logs.
I am considering renaming the file and creating a new TimeTracking file in
Google Drive on 1 Sept after I get all my reports printed.

After backing up my spreadsheet onto a USB. I deleted the TimeTracking
spreadsheet and started over. As everything is now significantly faster I think
that I had a corrupt row somewhere. Looking at the spreadsheet I only had 2300
rows in the log tab.
Please resolve this issue.

Thank you.
