I think the Vista version needs to be upgraded to Plus version. I'd like to use
it
without internet connection. Thanks.

I use the Vista Sidebar Gadget all the time and I would very much like to vote
to
get it upgraded to the Plus version. I often work offline but still want to be
able
to track my time against it. I'd also find it annoying to keep trying to find
which
browser window I had the tracker open in as I'm often recording very short
tasks.
Great gadget though and I'll continue to use it.

when I work off-line I still want to track my time against it,
therefore a Vista Sidebar Gadget is preferred.

I would love to see the vista version. I do time entries all day and having it
on
my sidebar like the old version is great, but I am also interested in being
able to
punch in and out from my Treo 800w with windows mobile 6.
So far I get a message that the browser is not supported, but it works for
everything except punching in and out. then all i have to do is refresh and
that
works too.
This way I can have it on my desk and my phone too.

I love your 1.2.0 time tracker.. Millions of Vista & Windows 7 users would like
to
have this App without the annoyance of google.
Thanks for considering porting this app!

I would very much like to see the improved version in Vista/Windows 7. I keep
this
very handy gadget on my desktop and the Google version is not nearly as handy.
Thank you

I also would like to see a Vista version for Time Tracker Plus (and hopefully a
Windows 7 version as well). Accessing the program from Google is not nearly as
convenient and sometimes I don't have an internet connection which means I
can't use
the program at all. Other than that issue, this is a wonderful program.

I too would like plus features (as a manager) in a gadget form. It is ok to use
an
online repository like google docs for the shared data so ti could share with
phones etc.

Yes, please create a Windows 7 sidebar gadget version (that doesn't rely upon
Google
or a live Internet connection).

Hi all, Included instructions to setup Activity Tracker Plus for Desktop using
Mozilla Prism. You can see the instructions by clicking "Menu --> What Else Can
I Do ?". Now you can run the online ATPlus from system tray.
Just an update - I am currently working on offline desktop version that can
sync to online ATPlus.

I would like to have it as a gadget for Windows7 (I guess it's the same as
vista). I wish I had the knowledge to develope it myself so I could contribute,
but unfortunatelly all I can do is cheer you up ^_^
Thanx for your time, patience and hard work!!

Step 1: Visit Mozilla Prism download page and install either "Prism Firefox
Extension" or "Prism Standalone Application". Follow setup instructions in
Mozilla Prism website. Mozilla no longer supports Prism in Firefox 5!! i cannot
use the internet when i am time tracking and REALLY need to be able to access
from my desktop. has the comment #28 completed? "Comment 28 by project member

i am incredibly frustrated as i use Firefox for almost everything and they are
upgrading AGAIN to version 6! help help..... or what DID I pay for a
subscription to?

Can you try installing ATplus in "Prism as Standalone Application".
Prism as firefox extension is currently not supported in recent mozilla version.
Let me know if standalone application works for you?

To those of you suffering from Firefox Upgrade Whiplash... skip Prism, use
Google Chrome - click the Wrench menu -> Tools -> Create Application Shortcut.
However, I would love to see a 'gadget' version too... What about repackaging
your current XML/JS stuff in a way that would work with the Kludget Engine
(http://kludgets.com/)... That would provide a gadget version for XP, Vista, 7
AND Linux...
Original comment by will.bro...@gmail.com

IT IS POSSIBLE TO RUN THIS AS A KLUDGET!! Will work in XP, Vista, Win7....
(please bear in mind I spent all of 3 minutes making this work, and I will be
abandoning ActivityTrackerPlus because I cannot run multiple simultaneous
tasks.... Please don't ask for my help/It worked for me/I did zero testing/You
get what you pay for/Caveat Emptor...)
1.) download and install the Kludget Engine from kludgets.com
1.1) Lets assume its at c:\program files\kludget engine\ ...
2.) in c:\program files\kludget engine\widgets\ create a new folder, call
it ActivityTrackerPlus
3.) inside c:\program files\kludget engine\widgets\ActivityTrackerPlus\
create two empty text files: index.html and kludget.xml
4.) open index.html in your favourite text editor (its ViM right? Yeah?! I knew
it!)
paste this into it:
<html><body><iframe width="800" height="600"
src="PASTE_THE_PRISM_URL_HERE"></iframe></body></html>
5.) modify this file with _YOUR_ PRISM url.
5.1) adjust width and height to your liking
6.) open index.html in your favourite text editor. past this into it:
<widget id="ActivityTrackerPlus" name="ActivityTrackerPlus" width="800"
height="600">
<content src="index.html"/>
</widget>
6.1) adjust Height and width to match your index.html
7.) ZIP up the folder: c:\program files\kludget
engine\widgets\ActivityTrackerPlus\
8.) in Kludget Engine, select "find more widgets", browse to c:\program
files\kludget engine\widgets\, select ActivityTrackerPlus.zip
9.) DONE!
You now have a widgetized version of ActivityTrackerPlus!
- I note that selecting actions from the >Menu loads up in your default
browser... Some fiddling of html iframe id's and the core xml file would
probably fix that.
- I bet this simple package could be autogenerated, much as the prism url is...
Good luck you guys, I am sad this tool will not work for me, as it is almost
perfect.
