Does sending voice messages from one matrix room to another work #2016

Describe the bug Does sending voice messages from one matrix room to another work? it is pq I have two linked rooms and the attachment does not reach me..instead, I get a voice message.ogg Other file as photo video send with original format...but audio clip not !

I have a similar problem: when I send a voice message on Matrix on other platforms (Discord, Telegram, XMPP) it shows up as text saying "Voice message" without sending any audio file. I'm on NixOS 23.05 with Matterbridge 1.25.2.
