Application not starting on Legion 5 2020 #180

image I tried to use this app since the lightning option isn't shown on lenovo vantage but the app didn't work

I don't see any relevant IDs there, usually points to the hardware/firmware or Lenovo's drivers being faulty.

Triple checking, do you have an RGB model? Did Vantage ever work but suddenly stopped? Are you stuck on the "rainbow" mode?

Yeah it worked before and then suddenly I'm unable to Fn+Space nor see the lightning option on vantage. And yes at the moment it's stuck on the rainbow mode

You can try with LenovoLegionToolkit, but the more probable explanation is hardware/firmware being an issue. Solutions vary greatly between people so try searching the Lenovo help forums or the subreddit for information.
