needed for latest research robot, to not introduce dependency to schunk_description....

mimic joints still don't seem to be supported in gazebo: see https://answers.ros.org/question/283537/how-to-do-mimic-joints-that-work-in-gazebo/ for a workaround....but this is beyond the scope of this pr...
