@SooLee We tried to update the recipe on conda, however, we gave up. Seems there are major patches for the Makefile and build.sh file necessary. https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/pull/25030

We finally managed to make it work: https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/pull/25052 pairix should be soon available on conda on python 3.8
