Prediction output of NN: Pump power #14

Since we are interested in the economic operation of the system, I am also learning the pump power. However, I am wondering if we are interested in the current or the next pump energy values? For the states, I am learning the next state of the system. The pump energy is more of an auxiliary value, which is not required for state evolution. What is your feeling about this?

I would say current power, as it is an algebraic quantity and not a dynamic state

but one can make an equivalent formulation anyway so it should not be critical...
