When using the c-town_true_network_simplified.inp as input, for all other equal conditions:

if the initial pump/valve status is "closed", then we can get very negative pressures (1e-6)
if the initial pump/valve status is "open/active", then only a small number of negative pressure points are obtained

It seems that the initial status "closed" is conditioning the full run. Better to keep the initial status to Open and Active for the setting to be actually used

Initial settings for pumps and valves need to be changes in the .inp file. If controls are set in the code with the time condition t=0, this does not work for the initial setting.
