Request: global channel search #261

At the moment, if I have more than one multi-channel playlist and I want to search for a channel, I have to go into each individual playlist and then repeat the search for each playlist. E.g. if I have Playlist A, Playlist B and Playlist C added to IPTVnator and I want to look for a channel, I have to click on A, type the search phrase in the search box there, then click back to the list of playlists, click on B, search again, click back to list of playlists again, click on C and search again. Multiply by however many playlists you have. A lot of steps.

But I notice in some other IPTV apps (I've been experimenting with one on Android), a single search will find results from any and all loaded playlists.

The solution I'd like A single global channel search. One search will find matching results in all playlists. (Perhaps with an indicator in the search results showing which playlist the result is from.)

I understand that you're requesting about searching in more than one playlist(xtream, m3u etc.) but I request searching in single playlist without entering any of category/directory. Not exactly the same but yeah it sounds similar...

Hello, Yes you are right.

I don't have any coding experience. But is this complicated to implement ? Are we the only ones missing this feature ?

In my opinion, iptvnator is absolutely great, but for an everyday use with xtream, it should be a must when you search a particular movie/show.

Is it possible for the dev to give us an update ? Thanks for all the good work !
