:tv: Cross-platform IPTV player application with multiple features, such as support of m3u and m3u8 playlists, favorites, TV guide, TV archive/catchup and more.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Some IPTV sources may not supply sufficient (or any) EPG data for some or all channels, and being able to manually assign EPG data would be a blessing.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow us to right click on a channel and then select a context menu option called "Map EPG data...".
Like OTT Navigator on Android, it would then open a menu that allows you to select from one of your available EPG guide data sources, then you select the guide data source and you will see an alphabetically listed list of channels (including a preview of what is currently on for every listing for the sake of verification).
You'd then be able to select an EPG listing to map to the channel.
Describe alternatives you've considered
No other free dedicated IPTV players on Windows support EPG data, or if they do, it's limited in functionality.
