Please, upload STA to Debian #106

Hi, can we have this packaged to Debian, now that scantailor was removed, since it used only qt4?

It would be awesome and I can help, sometimes, with maintenance.

I am currently working on it: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/scantailor-advanced We are nearing an upload, just have to get the tests working first.

All I found otherwise were https://snapcraft.io/install/scantailor-advanced/debian (but I am hoping for a plain .deb, not a snap) and https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=scantailor (no sid version.)

Hi, sorry for the lack of response. I don't have upload priveleges for new packages in Debian, and I have been waiting for a response from my sponsor. I'm back in touch with him now, and we are just waiting for a signing key update to propagate through the debian systems before we upload the first package. From there STA will eventually propagate to Ubuntu and other Debian derivatives. This updated package is set to replace the existing ScanTailor package in Debian.

Thanks very much for the work on Debian packaging! Pity it didn't become a package in time for Ubuntu Focal 20.04 ...
