Picture zones selected in mixed mode are output in the background folder at a resolution that can sometimes be higher than the original (300 dpi original and 600 dpi Output Resolution, for example). Since this yields much bigger files that don't add any additional information I suggest an option is added to ST's Output step to save pictures at their original resolution.
